Week 24. Author: Janet Dingayan Enteng is accidentally bitten by a dog and is rushed to the health center by his mom. At first, he was afraid of the doctors, the nurses and, most of all, the sharp needle of the syringe. While being treated, Enteng discovers that the doctors and nurses are friendly, and that having an injection does not hurt that much. He goes home with his mom braver than ever. 2017 by U.S.Agency for International Development (USAID) Produced for the Department of Education under the USAID Basa Pilipinas Activity Basa Pilipinas is USAID/Philippines’ flagship basic education activity in support of the Philippine Government’s early grade reading program.
